Town festival 2024
Hvergerdi's town festival 'Blooming days' ("Blómstrandi dagar") will be held August 15-28, 2024. Enjoy the day with the people in town and choose from a number of cultural events.

Various events from Thursday to Sunday, although the highlight of the festival is on Saturday. Interesting art exhibitions and diverse musical events are in town these days, along with health-related events for all age groups.
Blooming Days is a family, culture and health festival without alcohol, and parents are encouraged to respect children's and youth's outdoor time. The townspeople contribute to the festival by decorating their neighborhood and garden. A great atmosphere has also been created around garage markets and galleries all over town.
Prizes will be awarded for the most beautiful, original and largest gardens and house decorations and for the most beautiful street.
All weekend there will be life and excitement in town for the whole family.
