Hveragerði is not only a town known for its beautiful flowers and greenhouses but also a place where human life flourishes in many ways. Great location

Hveragerði is a town in the south of Iceland, approximately 40 km east of Reykjavík, and is part of the Golden Circle route. It is situated near several popular attractions, such as Þingvellir National Park, Gullfoss, and Geysir … as well as many other fascinating places to explore in the south.

Nature and outdoor activities
Hveragerði is situated atop a hot spring field, creating a unique natural environment with hot springs, steam vents, and mud pools. The town offers a variety of outdoor activities, whether people want to walk, run, cycle, or bathe in unique nature. Reykjadalur, with its hot river, is within the town limits and one of the most popular hiking trails in the country. 

A variety of entertainment
The town boasts one of the country's oldest and most elegant outdoor swimming pools, Laugaskarð, which no one should miss. In addition, a beautiful 9-hole golf course, salmon fishing in the Varmá River, mountain biking, and zip-lining are among the things you can do during your visit. The Geothermal Park is also a hidden gem in the middle of the town.
